Hack Buenos Aires is Midnight's official hackathon: 48 hours, in person, on August 7 and 8, 2026, in the heart of Palermo.

We're bringing together LATAM's best builders to create brand new projects on Midnight's programmable privacy network.

Build an application that can prove compliance, identity, and eligibility without exposing sensitive user data, powered by Midnight's zero-knowledge data protection architecture and Compact smart contracts.

Teams of 1 to 4 compete across two parallel tracks, Open for those with experience and Beginner for those new to the ecosystem, for a $10,000 USD prize pool and a spot in the Midnight Build Club. Participation is free and includes the venue, meals, and workshops across the weekend. All projects ship open source under the Apache 2.0 license.

Applications to the hack must be submitted individually, even if you already have a team. If applying as a team, each member must complete their own application and use the same team name.

The application should take approximately 5 minutes to complete.
